How to Make Changes Toward a Healthy Lifestyle.

To grow as a person and be happier, we must accept the changes that arise in our lives, sometimes they are unexpected and many times sudden; However, we must face those moments. Today we are not the same as yesterday; each experience means new thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors that we will add to our lives.

To live a healthy life is an important decision, and one of the main changes we must make. We often intend to have a healthy life, but we do not know where to start; this is based on three fundamental pillars: food, exercise, and rest. The most important thing is to want to change and build those habits to reach the goal.

Modify your shopping list and remove from your kitchen what you do not need: this is a fundamental step to improve nutrition, avoid processed products, and consume fresh products is essential. Most of your food should be vegetables and fruits, without leaving aside protein and carbohydrates.

Stay hydrated and avoid consuming soda or alcohol: water should be the main drink in your routine. Soft drinks or alcoholic beverages can only be taken at specific times, not as a natural habit.

Learn to cook: this does not mean that you should know culinary techniques, only the temperatures each meat needs to reach to be fully cooked, and how to make healthier meals.

Avoid sedentary lifestyle: climbing stairs, walking to work, or cycling are practices that will help you have a healthier day.

Exercise daily: start by doing 30 minutes of physical activity, choose a sport that motivates you, and fun for you.

Sleep 7 to 8 hours: having a regular rest schedule will help your body recover from fatigue. Avoid lying down watching the cell phone or television.

And last but not least, reduce the stress levels: minimizes the level of stress that is often caused by work.

Remember to go little by little if you are just starting to change your habits, some will be more difficult to modify, but you will succeed with constancy and discipline!
